The Camden County Health Department is offering drive-in flu shot clinics in St. Marys and Woodbine.
The first clinic will be Sept. 27 at 905 Dilworth St. in St. Marys and the second will be Oct. 2 at 1501 Georgia Ave. in Woodbine. Both will be 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
?Getting vaccinated is the best way to protect against the flu,? said Diane Weems, chief medical officer for the Camden County Heath Department and Coastal Health District. ?The flu can cause mild to serious illness, and there is no way to protect how serious it will be in each person.?
Flu vaccinations are $25 and will also be available at the Health Department offices by appointment or during walk-in hours 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
For more information call the St. Marys office at (912) 882-8515 or Woodbine at (912) 576-3040.
