Edelman PR announced this week that Ruth Edelman will serve as deputy chairman of parent company DJE Holdings following the January passing of her husband, company founder Daniel J. Edelman. This will be a non-executive role; Edelman will provide counsel to both clients and executives while also hosting agency-sponsored events. Nick Fuller joins the agency as marketing director, a new position in the NY office where he will oversee marketing and business development efforts, contribute to its thought leadership and provide strategic insights for new and existing clients. Fuller previously spent three years as senior director of marketing at social media agency MRY, part of Publicis, and served in business development positions at WPP Group research firm Millward Brown, Omnicom?s Wolff Olins, and independent agencies Vision Creative Group and Tipping Sprung. We Are Social?s New York office also added Peter Fontana as research and insight director. He is a transfer from the agency?s London office, where in a little over a year he helped the department grow from three to 13 people.
